Golden Glaze Samples
Aging or Tinting Works
Use a paper towel or sponge to wipe glaze across work. In sample on the right Raw Umber was used on the right, Violet Earth on the left. The center is the original color. A great way to tone down or tie a piece together.
Faux Finishing
Use sponges, ragging, feathers and other tools to create faux finish effects. Any decorator finish can de created with Golden Glazes including marbling, granite, sponging, spattering, wood graining and more.
Combing/Drawing/Paste Paper
Create lovely textures right in the glaze using a comb, a Colour Shaper, or any texturing tool. Create apste paper effects without mixing your own paste
Stamping
Golden glaze can be applied directly to stamps and stamped with (sample on right) or glaze can be applied to surface and stamp can be used to remove glaze (sample on left).

Painting and Tinting
Golden glaze can be painted over xeroxes of photos or detailed stamps, stamped with black waterproof ink. because they are transparent details are visible. Glazes are also lovely as a painting medium. There trasparent properties allow an artist to create depth and realism. Colors can be layered one over another to create an infinite variety of shades. The finished work lets the light shine through and is very soft and warm. The longer drying time means you can rework areas without worrying about your paint drying.

Overstamping
Golden glaze can be stamped over any number of surfaces, creating a unique see through effect. Samples on right stamped over watercolor crayons and sponged ink. Try stamping over DTP backgrouns or brayered areas.
