Glue Stick Samples
Faux Wax Seals
Make a puddle of glue on your glue mat or other working surface in the size and shape of your stamp. Wet stamp thouroughly (VERY IMPORTANT - otherwise your stamp will stick ) with water or alcohol free baby wipes. Place stamp face down in puddle. let glue cool completely. Remove stamp. Embellish with metallic rub-ons or foil. Attach to envelopes just like wax seals, but these won't break in the mail! Use as embellishments on fronts of cards or in collage work!

Background
Metallic rub-ons used with a DTP method. Pearl hot glue was dribbled over surface and left to cool. Once cool foil can be placed faced down on glue and rubbed onto it.

Mold Shapes
Select a clay or paper mold. Coat well with embossing fluid, which will act as your release agent. Pour in glue from gun. For large molds it is easier to use two guns at once. Let glue cool completely. Once cool, inset exacto knife balde into glue and pop shape from mold. Shapes on left have been brushed with Polished Pigments and set with spray fix. You can also enhance with metallic rub-ons or a variety of paints.

Foil Leafing
Glue that is cool may be enhanced with foil in sheets or foil leaf. Try not to touch cooled glue first or your skin will stick instead of foil. To use sheet foil, lay over glue and burnish on. Foil will stick in raised areas 9see samples above). To use foil leaf, dip shape in foil and rub-on. Foil will stick everywhere,. Brush off excess.
